SCREENING OF ENTRY CREDENTIALS The screening of student's entry credentials is a continuous exercise in the college. Right from the time that candidates apply to get admitted into the college as students until their final year and even thereafter, their qualifications are subjected to rigorous screening both within and outside the college to determine their genuineness or otherwise, students found to have altered, falsified, impersonated or performed any act of impropriety to gain admission into the college through deceit are immediately dismissed. Additionally, the college may not hesitate to hand over such culprits to the appropriate law enforcement agencies for prosecution.

It must be noted that students' admissions are provisional until they matriculate. Materials required for screening:

(i)      The appropriate certificate or student's master list, stamped and endorsed by the Principal of the school(s) attended by the student or duly designated authority.

(ii) passport size photograph of the student, duly endorsed by the Principal of school(s) attended by the student or an appropriate authority. Students are advised to get the above stated materials ready, right from the moment they are seeking admission into college to save them from a lot of inconveniences, after their admission.

Matriculation signifies the formal admission of a student into the main NCE stream of the college, having satisfied preliminary entry requirements provisionally. On matriculation, students are assigned matriculation numbers, which act as part of their particulars/identity in the college. It is therefore compulsory that every correspondence by students within the campus must be with their matriculation numbers, which are also used for examinations.

Convocation signifies graduation ceremony of final year students who have passed their relevant examinations, for the award of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE). Results and prizes are distributed to deserving graduands during the occasion. Matriculation and Convocation are annual events and students need academic gowns for the occasions (the Students Affairs office is the source of issuance).
